Friday March 22nd

1:30pm- 2:30pm – Makeup – Workshop (See a demonstration and learn the basics of stage makeup application and design with Fullerton College faculty) Makeup Room (1317)

2:30pm- 3:30pm – Wigs – Workshop (Learn practical skills about wigs and hair design for shows from Kaitlin Yagen who has toured designed hair and makeup for theatre for almost 15 years and toured on shows throughout the US, Canada, China, and Saudi Arabia.) Makeup Room (1317)

2:30pm- 3:30pm – Stage Management – Workshop (What does a good stage manager do? Find out how to be a stage manager that everyone wants to work with.) Room 1310

3:30pm- 4:30pm – Technology in the Scene Shop – Workshop (Come learn about the technology that makes up the Fullerton College Scene Shop. Find out how we use the CNC Router, 3D printing and other equipment to support the shows we produce.) Scene Shop (1317)

4:30pm- 5:30pm – Intimacy Basics for Stage Management – Workshop (Learn how to create a space that all people feel comfortable in.) Recital Hall (1111)

4:30pm- 5:30pm – Period Paper Dress Making- Costuming Workshop (Learn the basics of how to make a period dress from industry professionals and Fullerton College faculty.) Costume Shop (1124)

 

Saturday March 23rd

9am- 10am – Stage Combat for the Stage Manager – Workshop (Learn the basics of stage combat that every stage manager should know. How to keep things safe for everyone involved.) Recital Hall (1111)

9am- 10am – Sound Design on a Budget – Workshop (Learn the fundamentals of sound design while hearing from industry professionals about how you can create a great design without having to spend a ton of money.) Campus Theatre (1311)

10am- 11am –Getting to Know the Costuming Industry – Costuming Workshop (Hear from industry professionals about the costuming industry and all the different roles you can have off stage in a costuming and wardrobe department.) Costume Shop (1124)

10am- 11am – How to be the Best A2 – Workshop (What is an A2? What do they do? Why are they an important part of a show? Come learn the answers to all these questions and more!) Recital Hall (1111)

11am- 12pm – Entertainment as a Job Talkback (Leading professionals from all areas of entertainment will answer all of your burning questions. This is your chance to learn about and ask questions about professional roles within the industry.) Campus Theatre (1311)

1pm- 2pm – Women in Technical Theatre Panel (Hear from top woman in the technical theatre industry. What they do and how you can do it too.) Campus Theatre (1311)

1pm- 2pm – Gigging 101 – Workshop (What is gigging? What do you need to do to be successful at it? Come find out!) Recital Hall (1111)

2pm- 3pm – Theme Park Technical Entertainment Panel (Participate in a discussion with professionals from your favorite local theme parks. Learn about what they do how they do it. Get the chance to find out how you too could someday work for some of the largest theme park companies in the world!) Campus Theatre (1311)

4pm- 5pm – Scenic Painting – Workshop (Learn about scene painting, how it can be used in theatrical spaces, and get a hands-on experience.) Scene Shop (1317)

4pm- 5pm – How to Produce a Show – Workshop (Hear from producers of shows and learn everything you need to know about how to get a show from first concept to opening night.) Room 1310

4pm- 5pm – Rigging/Safety in the Theatrical Environment – Workshop (Learn the basics of rigging and general safety in the theatrical environment. How to keep yourself and the people around you safe when on stage.) Campus Theatre (1311)
